Last night we went to see Neko Case and she was fabulous. The venue was a bit strange, everyone propped up against each other, not a lot of room for movement! We went to Ferris' Oyster Bar which was excellent. They had all sorts of different baked oysters and steamed veggies, really good, and very reasonably priced. When we got home, however, Jack was still awake! Nairn said that he hadn't cried, just gotten up and would not go back to bed. He ended up getting to sleep very late and waking up to early and I am afraid today will be pretty trying. I, of course, woke up with severely bloodshot eyes (allergies are killing me) and I am exhausted. Piers took the car today because he needs to go run some errands after work (which means he won't be home until after Jack goes to bed). Ahhhh...breathe!!! It will pass! I think we will have an early nap and go to the park in the afternoon, hopefully that will do the trick. Thank goodness I spell checked this, I had 15 mistakes!

Well, if that isn't exactly what we did yesterday as well. Ferris Oyster Bar for an early dinner, then back to the Folkfest for Neko Case. She was awesome! Hope you get some rest today.

It will pass. The day can only last so long, no matter what happens. A trip to the park always helps. Sorry you're so exhausted and allergy ridden.
